Urban exploring

The grand shaft in Dover, a pit that drops down 12 floors underground.

It is not opened to the public, however the fence and barbed wire was easy enough to avoid.

We made it into the main shaft and got to spend a few hours exploring the levels.

Glider trails

Took this one at an airshow in Shoreham, the light through the clouds and smoke trails looks amazing.

Fire Jars

Taken at a local farm as wedding party wound to a close in the early am.

West Pier remains

The remains of Brighton's west pier, after years of neglect it is left to rust into the sea.

Reptile gaze

A bearded dragon at a local animal rescue centre, the sun lamp really sets off the crest along his spine.

The underside of  a spitfire that i took at Duxford airshow at the jubilee 2012.

Stranger on the beach

Early evening shot on Worthing beach, the sun put him in silhouette and through some nice reflections from the pebbles.
The sky looks fantastic in this shot.

Seals in the surf

After a very early start and a chilly boat ride across the wells next the sea coast we got to see these amazing seals on the remote beach.

Old man of the sea

I took this off the back of a fishing boat early in the morning.
I really like the way he is leaning into the wind as his boat skips across the waves.
